Winning Films Emphasize the Importance of Incorporation for Small Business Owners
New York, NY (Marketwired - September 18, 2015)
Wolters Kluwer's BizFilings, the incorporation experts, today announced the winners of its video competition, hosted on the creative content platform Tongal. More than 100 independent filmmakers participated in the competition, ideating and producing compelling videos on the benefits of entrepreneurs incorporating their business with BizFilings.
Tongal, the world's first "studio-on-demand," connects brands and advertisers with a global community of independent filmmakers to generate compelling digital video content through collaborative contests. Brands that have used the platform include Anheuser-Busch, Nokia, Procter & Gamble, LEGO, General Mills, Bacardi and NASA.
Brandon Carter has been selected as the winner of the BizFilings contest for his creative video on the success trajectory of the incorporated entrepreneur. A New York-based filmmaker, Carter has also created campaigns for Band-Aid, OwnEnergy and other brands. Second place winner was Pudu Productions for their video "Go With The Experts."
"Many entrepreneurs know that incorporating their business prepares them to secure funding, hire employees and separate their personal assets from the business, but not all entrepreneurs realize how important having the right partner for incorporation can be," said Jennifer Friedman, chief marketing officer of Bizfilings. "Our experts work in every state, truly understand the incorporation process, and are fully invested in the success of every customer. Partnering with Tongal through this project allows us to communicate these points to our customers in unique and appealing ways."
"Tongal is bringing the world's creative work to the world's creative talent, and this collaboration is evidence of the way filmmaking is evolving to be focused on compelling storylines and audience engagement, in every industry," said James DeJulio, co-founder, president and chief creative officer of Tongal. "We are thrilled BizFilings has utilized our community of talent in a way that will help and educate entrepreneurs around the country, and are excited by the quality of the films that were produced."
The BizFilings videos will run on Hulu, YouTube, Pandora, and TubeMogul now through the fall. BizFilings and Tongal extend their congratulations to Carter and Pudu Productions, and their thanks to all of the filmmakers who participated in the competition. BizFilings will be participating in Tongal's upcoming "Community Resources" page, where Tongal will offer community members various career-development perks. BizFilings will be extending a special rate to Tongal community members of 20% off any incorporation package.
