The teen companies that were memorable from last year: (1) teenagers installed energy monitoring equipment in schools to see where energy was being wasted in the schools with schools realized a $5,000 annual savings, (2) a teen who started an investment fund to offer funding to teen businesses in the area, and (3) another who had started an IT service to help "old people like my parents and grandparents" with their computers and mobile devices - he had 60 customers in the first week alone and had started the business in middle school.
