Employers in New Hampshire must comply with these state rules relating to meals and break times.

A New Hampshire employer may not require an employee to work more than five consecutive hours without permitting a half-hour eating period.

There is an exception to this rule if it is possible for the employee to eat while working and the employer allows this arrangement.
