Employers in Wisconsin must conform with these state rules relating to posting minimum wage requirements.

In Wisconsin, a special minimum wage license issued by the Department of Workforce Development requires a poster that explains the conditions under which special minimum wages may be paid, posted in a conspicuous place on the employer's premises so it may be readily observed by workers with disabilities, the parents or guardians of workers, and other employees.

As a substitute for posting, an employer may provide a copy of the poster directly to each employee subject to its terms.
