Employers in the District of Columbia must comply with these state requirements relating to wage statements.

In the District of Columbia, an itemized wage statement, showing the following information, must be provided with each payment:

  • the date of the wage payment;
  • gross wages paid;
  • deductions from and additions to wages;
  • net wages paid;
  • hours worked during the pay period; and
  • any other information as may be prescribed by regulation.
