Employers in New York are subject to the following state disability insurance tax rules.

Coverage: Any business having an employee in each of at least 30 days during the calendar year

Employer Tax Rate: No fixed rate, but employers pay additional costs, if any

Withholding Rate: Employee tax is 0.5%, but not more than $.60 per week per employee
