These practical tips are meant to help keep you as close to balance as possible. When it comes down to it, our personal and professional lives are so intertwined that we cannot balance one without balancing the other.
  • Make appointments with yourself to exercise. Treat these appointments with the same respect you would if it were a meeting with a client or customer. Exercise not only improves your health, it also gives you energy and improves mental clarity. Can you think of a better way to make good decisions throughout your work day?

  • Goal setting. In a previous series, I discussed how to discover, define and set your goals — even in the face of obstacles. Personal and professional goals not only keep you on track, they also give you focus so you don’t waste your time on extraneous tasks.
This author knows first hand how difficult these techniques can sometimes be to accomplish. But they are possible. If you can make them a habit, your life and your business will thrive. May your business always experience abundance, growth and prosperity … Business Blogs blog
