But is what you’re doing making a meaningful contribution to your company’s future? Depending on how you structure your day, the answer might surprise you. But with a little technique I learned from one of the world’s most famous speakers, Zig Ziglar, you can easily keep yourself and your small business on track and moving forward. Zig’s advice is incredibly easy, and takes only minutes a day to accomplish: Write down the six most important things you need to do today. Do this first thing in the morning, or plan ahead and write tomorrow's list before you go to bed. This gives you a clear picture of your day and gets you thinking about what’s most important before you get swept up into the day. What you’re really working on is short-term goals. When you integrate them with your long-term goals, you can really get going on building a successful business!
