It's been an official holiday since 1983, thanks to the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), along with President Ronald Reagan and the US Congress. For over half a decade, the ABWA’s mission has been “to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership; education, networking support and national recognition.” September 22nd is a day to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions that past and present American business women have made to our nation. Thank you for your hard work, your innovation and your strength. Check out our press release for more on American Business Women's Day, and on incorporating your own women-owned small business.
