Did you know that, according to a 2013 small business study, the United States ranks first for female entrepreneurship, compared to 17 other countries? Catherine Gilardi, Paralegal for the Silicon Valley Law Group, has been in the legal industry for 6 years. When we asked what her most notable accomplishment was as a business owner, she noted: “After noticing a client had not set up registered agent services correctly for 6 entities in multiple states for several years, I prepared a comprehensive plan to reinstate the entities, pay the back-taxes and prevent the re occurrence.” We also took a look at some of the conversations business women are having on social media about celebrating their endeavors! Forbes recently reported that earlier this year, American Express estimated there were over 8.6 million woman-owned businesses in the United States generating over $1.3 trillion in revenues and employing roughly 7.8 million people.
