When starting a business, traveling for work may seem glamorous. But there are several business travel tips to address the largest pain points – carrying heavy luggage, missed or delayed flights, cramped airplanes – that can make the experience more enjoyable.So what can you do to make a business trip a painless experience? We put together seven tips that can make your next trip as pleasant and stress-free as possible. 1. Check in online before you get to the airport. This will save you time at the airport and the hassle of waiting in long lines. Additionally, you can obtain an eBoarding pass that allows you to use your Smartphone as a boarding pass. This eliminates the hassle of fumbling with papers – and potentially losing them – at both security and the gate. 2. Keep a pre-packed bag. If you travel often, you should consider keeping a small bag packed with the essentials (toiletries, chargers, make-up, etc.). This will save you the hassle of packing and unpacking every time you leave for a trip. It will also save you the stress of potentially forgetting something crucial like a phone charger or deodorant. 3. Pack two small carry-on items instead of one larger bag. When possible, research nearby restaurants before you leave for your trip and make a reservation. This will save you time and stress at the end of the day when you’re tired and ready to call it a day. 7. Eat well and get a full night’s sleep. It’s easy to fall victim to the array of unhealthy food options when travelling and it is no easy feat to feel rested between unfamiliar hotel rooms and time changes. But by staying on a normal sleep schedule and picking healthy meal choices, you will feel better both duringyour trip and once you are back into your normal routine!
