Maine employers must provide employees with leave for jury duty in accordance with these state rules.
Maine law provides that an employer may not deprive an employee of employment or health insurance coverage, or threaten or otherwise coerce the employee with the loss of employment or health insurance coverage for the reason that the employee receives or responds to a summons for jury service, serves as a juror or attends court for prospective jury service.
