South Carolina employers must provide employees with leave for jury duty in accordance with these state rules.
An employee in South Carolina who is otherwise eligible for benefits may not be denied benefits with respect to any week that the employee is required to serve as a juror. Further, South Carolina employers may not dismiss or demote an employee who serves as a juror.
