Employers in Idaho must comply with these state requirements when making the final wage payment to terminated employees.
In Idaho, when an employee is discharged or quits, wages are due by the earlier of the next regularly scheduled payday or within 10 days of layoff or termination, excluding weekends and holidays.
However, if the employee requests in writing to be paid earlier, then the employee must be paid all wages due within 48 hours of the receipt of the request, excluding weekends and holidays.
