Employers in Wyoming must comply with these state requirements when making the final wage payment to terminated employees.
In Wyoming, whenever an employee quits or is discharged, all wages due must be paid within five working days of the date of termination.
The employer may offset from any money due as wages any sum owed to the employer by the employee incurred during the employment.
This provision does not apply to the earnings of a sales agent employed on a commission basis and having custody of the accounts, money or goods of the employer where the net amount due to the employee may not be determinable except after an audit or verification of sales, accounts, funds or stocks.
Employers must, at the request of an employee whose work is suspended as the result of a labor dispute, pay the employee all wages due at the next regular pay day.
