Puerto Rico Wage and Hour Recordkeeping Requirements

Employers in Puerto Rico must conform with these state rules relating to wage and hour recordkeeping requirements.

Employers in Puerto Rico must keep a record, payroll or pay list, in the form prescribed by the Minimum Wage Board, showing the following:

  • the name and address of each employee;
  • the hours worked by each employee; and
  • the wages paid to each employee.

Records must be kept for a minimum of three years.
